Responsibilities: 
l    Work closely with engineers in the Platform team (from both China and US) to design and develop from system infrastructural services to support general application development.
l    Help author/review functional specifications, design documents and test plans for application features.
l    Deliver high quality implementations in Java or Flex using Objected Oriented programming techniques.
l    Assist in performance testing software and trouble shooting problems. 
l    Quickly learn and apply commercial and open source tools and frameworks (e.g. perforce, ant, junit, eclipse, apache web server, apache tomcat, struts, hibernate).

Qualifications: 
l    At least 5 years of Java/J2EE working experience designing and developing web based applications.
l    Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or other engineering discipline with relevant CS course work.
l    Record of high academic achievement (G.P.A) and aptitude (standardized test scores).
l    Demonstrable proficiency in object oriented programming, using C++, Java or Flex and a knack for writing clear, efficient code.
l    Fluency in complexity analysis and applying data structures and algorithms to solve problems.
l    Understanding of parallel processing, threading, and synchronization principles. 
l    Understanding of SQL fundamentals. 
l    Ability to work both independently and within a team towards release milestones.
l    Good written and verbal communication in English.
