Position: Sr. QA developer
At Baynote, we serve millions of community-driven recommendations every day to help internet users find what they want quickly and intelligently. We are looking for a QA leader to help us improve the QA infrastructure and manage the QA process.
Requirements:
a) A senior team leader, must be senior enough, should have 3+ years of developing experience in QA field.
b) Solid programming abilities in one or more languages, such as PHP/perl/shell script, etc.
c) Experience of using one or many of these automation tools: Jmeter, QTP, Selenium etc.
d) Experience and knowledge of XML, MySQL, web and browser technologies
e) Some performance and load test experience
f) Good command of English communication.
g) Excellent organizational and analytical skills
h) 3 years of automation test experience, including minimum 1 year of experience as technical leader.
i) Must have good QA methodology and good judgement
j) Must be a good team player and have good communication skills
k) Must have very good attitude and aptitude towards testing and test development
Position: PHP UI developer (intermediate)
Our Insights tool is our customers’ main portal into our recommendation and optimization engine. Your job would be to keep Insights moving forward by improving usability, enhancing the existing report tools and providing customers with the functionality they need to manage their sites. Your responsibilities will include gathering requirements, helping to design, distribution, coding and quality control, and working with other engineers to execute it. The person should have good UI development skills and be able to translate a UI design into good maintainable code.
Requirements:
a) should have 3+ years of developing experience.
b) Good command of English communication, writing and reading at least.
c) Excellent organizational and analytical skills
d) Has profound understanding in OOP
e) Experienced in PHP development
f) Experienced in Web Application Development
g) Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX
h) Experience with third party UI toolkit such as EXT, YUI and Dojo
i) Knowledge about cross browser compatibility
j) Desire to learn new technologies
