Responsibilities:
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design
• Conducting and coordinating software development activities, while leading a team of 2-3 engineers
• Designing & developing functional and technical capabilities within the products, while making ongoing design decisions
• Facilitating cooperation with local and off-shore teams (working closely with group TLs), as well as with external teams such as QA and technical publications, while keeping high visibility and effective communication
• Coaching, training and developing the people in the team
• Providing in depth technical knowledge and guidance to the team, according to identified needs
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Computer Science / Computer Engineering
• Proven excellence in previous position or graduation with honor – strong advantage
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience as part of meaningful software development lifecycle
• Strong background in JAVA / .NET. Significant exposure to other technologies.
• Background in both JAVA and .NET – strong advantage
• Significant experience leading software team within global environment
• Strong leadership skills. Ability to motivate and develop people.
• Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing)
• High organized, excellent quality & timely deliveries discipline
• Experienced with information systems designs and development
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
• OOP\OOD understanding and proven practice. Strong architecture-awareness (application model and/or implementation tiers)
• Ability and will to influence – setting an agenda and striving to reach it. Results orientation.
• Customer orientation.
