Job description
Scope of work for 3rd Level Support
SAP Basis Installation/Upgrade Services
- Perform R/3 sizing
- Perform SAP landscape design (e.g. SAP instances and clients)
- Perform SAP Database design and layout
- Provide/Review the installation/upgrade plan
- Perform Quality Assurance for the installed/upgraded systems
- Review recommendation to apply R/3 Kernel patches, Support Packages and
BASIS related OSS notes
SAP Basis Support Services
- Provide 2nd level support to diagnose and resolve BASIS related problems
- Provide 2nd level support to analyze and tune SAP performance buffers
- Review SAP technical procedure/process
SAP Change and Transport Management
- Provide 2nd level support to resolve BASIS related errors
SAP Batch Management
- Provide 2nd level support to resolve BASIS related batch jobs
SAP Database Support
- Provide 2nd level support to analyze and tune database performance buffers
- Provide 2nd level to database fault diagnosis and application of related OSS fixes
SAP Backup and Recovery Services
- Review backup, restore and recovery concept and procedures
- Review database restore and recovery
SAP Performance and Capacity Management
- Perform SAP performance and capacity planning and recommendations
SAP Security and Audit
- Enforce GSD331 security guidelines
- Evaluate security advisories
SAP Change Review
- Provide support for critical project change
SAP version upgrade and unicode conversion
Present the technical proposals to customer on behalf of team
Non-Technical Skills:
Good interpersonal communication skill (Must)
Good at Written English communication (Must), could communicate for technical problems in English
Good presentation skill
Good spirit of Client focus
Could accept to work on night shift
